The Journey Behind Tio Felipe Designs: Sharing Creativity, Inspiration, and Connection

For years, I have felt a calling to do more with my creativity, design abilities, insights, and knowledge. Despite leading a busy life, I had a nagging feeling that I wanted to inspire and encourage others to slow down and appreciate the essential things in life: a personal relationship with God/Jesus, family, friends, personal growth, rest, reflection, recreation, and alone time to rejuvenate. As an Executive Pastor, I found that my role had become more administrative, and I longed to mentor others personally.

That's when Tio Felipe Designs was born.

Tio Felipe Designs is the culmination of my passion for meaningful connections, personal growth, and making a positive impact in the lives of others. With over 20 years of experience in higher education and 30 years of leading service projects in Central America, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep desire to help others better themselves. Through Tio Felipe Designs, I have found a way to utilize my God-given gifts and abilities to bless the most people.

One of the main reasons behind starting Tio Felipe Designs was to create products that would inspire intentionality and reflection. I wanted to offer tools for individuals to deepen their faith, nurture their relationships, express gratitude, and find joy in the simple moments of life. Our collection includes lined ruled journals, prayer journals, gratitude journals, coloring and activity books for children and adults, and activity books designed for seniors with memory issues.

Additionally, I wanted to share my love for Guatemala and its rich coffee heritage. Daily Planner for the Coffee Obsessed is the first in a line of coffee books. I am working on two additional coffee books, From the Highlands to Your Cup: A Coffee Lover's Journey Exploring Guatemalan Coffee and Coffee Odyssey: 1001 Fascinating Facts About One of the World’s Favorite Beverages. These coffee books allow me to share my experiences and appreciation for Guatemala and its coffee. Through this book, I aim to inspire others to explore the wonders of this country, savor its diverse flavors, and celebrate the remarkable journey that each cup represents. It is a way for me to intertwine the stories of Guatemala's people, their dreams, and the precious brew of their coffee.
